Employee SMS Notification Policy

Hoffman Petroleum uses SMS text messaging to send work-related notifications to current employees who have opted in to receive these messages.

Messages may include safety notices, schedule updates, job site updates, weather or emergency alerts, expense or payroll reminders, and other internal operational communications. This SMS program is for internal employee communications only. It is not used for marketing, sales, customer outreach, lead generation, or third-party promotional messaging.

Opt-In Consent

Current employees may opt in to receive SMS notifications during onboarding, through an internal employee consent form, or by providing verbal consent to Hoffman Petroleum. The consent language explains that employees are agreeing to receive recurring work-related text messages from Hoffman Petroleum.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of employment, purchase, or service.

Opt-Out Instructions

Employees may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT. After opting out, the employee will receive one final confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS notifications unless they opt in again.

SMS Privacy

Hoffman Petroleum may collect and use an employee’s name, mobile phone number, consent status, opt-in date, opt-out date, and related messaging records to operate the employee SMS notification program.

Hoffman Petroleum does not sell, rent, share, or disclose mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent records to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties, except with service providers who help deliver SMS messages on Hoffman Petroleum’s behalf and who are required to protect the information.
